Death on Two Wheels - The Past and the Present

What do they sound like?

Death on Two Wheels is an indie rock band from the South...and it shows. In fact, if seventies Southern rock got together with nineties grunge and had a child, that baby would be Death on Two Wheels; picture Chris Cornell singing for Lynyrd Skynyrd.

They really do a great job of melting the two sounds together without sounding cheesy, but with a lead singers whose name is Trae Vedder how could you not be destined for rock greatness?

Paste Magazine quote:

Jean Uhelszki from Paste magazine says, "Death On Two Wheels makes rock ’n’ roll dangerous again, with slurry-blurry lyrics, half-cocked dreamspeak of portents and regret, and a formidable guitar attack that recalls the nasty duels Allen Collins waged with Gary Rossington..."

Where can I see them?

The band’s You Tube account and Tumblr blog make them endearing and accessible. So if you're in the mood to rock out, please check out Death on Two Wheels.

Also, on a related note, Record Store Day is going to be on Saturday, April 18th this year. At Criminal Records in Atlanta, Georgia, Death on Two Wheels will be performing a free show at 11:00 in the morning. They will have their newest album on sale for $7. How exciting!
